About
The demand for care will change significantly in the coming years: an aging population is increasing and the number of caregivers is decreasing. This trend has major consequences. Together with care and knowledge institutions, municipalities and innovative companies, the TZA is therefore focusing on technology and applications that promote independent living at home for longer.
Screen-based care, home measurements, (care) robots, digital portals: the use of care technology is growing explosively. Professionals and care organizations are increasingly confronted with this and make more use of it. Care technology plays an increasing role in communication, the practical implementation of care and maintaining independence. This requires an adjustment of the competencies of current and future professionals. Future-proof professionals have knowledge of current technological developments and can apply this in various situations. This is what the TZA makes possible.
